mikej Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) Been there more times than i care to remember, forget after market, Ebay etc and buy the real things from Frauds, it's going to sting the pocket a bit but after changing them approx 3 times on my 2.3 mk2 i gave up, sick of jacking the bloody car up and down lol. I eventually bought from Frauds and they have been fine for over a year with no issues at all. I know there are some on here who may not have had an issue but in my case i also tried 3 different types before finally buying from the dealer, i think they were in the region of Edited May 15, 2011 by mikej Quote
sparky Paul Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 I've got Delphi ones on at the moment, they seem to be holding up pretty good despite the dire state of the roads around here. You have to be careful with cheap parts nowadays, the unbranded stuff is usually junk, and the latest thing to contend with is the amount of fake branded parts that are appearing. Going to Ford or VW dealer makes a lot of sense for droplinks, I understand GSF also stock the genuine VW item, as well as a cheaper alternative. Quote
